PRODUCT: Odor-CideTM DD is designed for use in homes, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, hotels, and other institutions where housekeeping is of prime importance. When used as directed, this formulation will clean and disinfect hard, non-porous, inanimate surfaces such as walls, sink tops, furniture, telephones, shower stall, bath tubs, hampers, cabinets and bed springs. Odor-CideTM DD will kill the odor molecule, not mask it.

Odor-CideTM DD, as mentioned above, doesn't cover up odors, it eliminates them! By breaking down even the strongest odor molecules, it is the most effective odor eliminator available.

PROPERTIES:

PERFORMANCE: Bactericidal activity, when used as directed, against Staphylococcus aureus ATCC #6538, Salmonella choleraesuis ATCC #10708, Escherichia coli ATCC #11229 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC #15442.

Fungicidal activity, when used as directed against Trichophyton mentagrophytes ATCC #9533.

Sold in 8 oz (240 ml) bottles and 55 gallon (209 liters) drums.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

DISINFECTION AND CLEANING - Hold container 6 to 8 inches from surface to be treated. Spray area until it is covered with the solution. Allow product to penetrate and remain wet for 10 minutes. No scrubbing is necessary. Wipe off with a clean cloth, mop or sponge. The product will not leave grit or soap scum. For heavily soiled areas, remove gross soil before treatment.

MILDEWSTAT - To control mold and mildew on pre-cleaned, hard non-porous surfaces spray surface to be treated making sure to wet completely. Let air dry. Repeat application at weekly intervals or when mildew growth appears.

BACTERICIDAL ACTIVITY - When used as directed, Odor-Cide TM DD exhibits effective disinfectant activity against the organisms: Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella choleraesuis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa and meets all requirements for hospital use.

FUNGICIDAL ACTIVITY - This product is fungicidal against the pathogenic fungi, Trichophyton mentogrophytes (Athlete's Foot Fungus) when used as directed on hard surfaces found in bathrooms, shower stalls and locker rooms, or any other clean, non-porous, hard surfaces commonly contacted by bare feet.

EFFICACY TESTS HAVE DEMONSTRATED THAT ODOR-CIDE TM DD IS AN EFFECTIVE BACTERICIDE AND FUNGICIDE IN THE PRESENCE OF ORGANIC SOIL (5% IN BLOOD SERUM).

STORAGE CONDITIONS REQUIRED: Store in a dry place, above 32 ºF (0 C) but under 110 ºF (43 C).

THE IDENTITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL COMPONENTS OF THIS PRODUCT IS PROPRIETARY INFORMATION AND IS CONSIDERED A TRADE SECRET PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1910.1200 (see Section i - Federal Register Vol. 48 No. 228 Nov 25, 1993 Rules and Regulations)

SECTION III HEALTH HAZARD DATA

EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE: May be harmful by inhalation, ingestion, or skin absorption. Direct mist is irritating to the eyes, mucous membranes and upper respiratory tract. Prolonged contact can cause skin irritation.

PRIMARY ROUTES OF EXPOSURE: Skin or eye contact, inhalation, or swallowing.

INHALATION: Excessive inhalation of high concentrations may cause headaches, vomiting, and coma.

EYE CONTACT: Liquid or mist directly in eyes will irritate the eyes.

SKIN CONTACT: Prolonged or repeated contact may irritate the skin.

SWALLOWING: Swallowing large quantities causes headaches, nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps and diarrhea, in extreme cases unconsciousness.

CHRONIC EFFECTS OF EXPOSURE: Prolonged or repeated exposure to high concentrations can produce severe or fatal CNS Depression.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS GENERALLY AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: None in normal low level applications.

EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES

IF INHALED: Remove to fresh air. Give artificial respiration if not breathing. Seek immediate medical attention.

IN CASE OF EYE CONTACT: Immediately flush eyes with running water for 15 minutes, if irritation persists seek immediate medical attention.

IN CASE OF SKIN CONTACT: Immediately wash skin with soap and water. If irritation persists after washing, seek medical attention.

IF SWALLOWED: If conscious, immediately induce vomiting by giving 2 glasses of water and sticking a finger down the throat. Seek immediate medical attention. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing person. Keep the victim's head below his hips while vomiting so he does not breathe the vomit into his lungs.

CARCINOGENICITY: This material is not considered to be a carcinogen by the National Toxicology Program, the International Agency of Research on Cancer, or the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

SECTION IV REACTIVITY DATA

STABILITY: Stable

POLYMERIZATION: Will not occur

CONDITIONS TO AVOID: Heat, Sparks, and open Flames.

MATERIALS TO AVOID: Acids and oxidizing materials.

HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: May liberate carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide.

SECTION V SPILL, LEAK AND DISPOSAL INFORMATION

SPILL OR LEAKAGE PROCEDURES: In the event of a major spill of 55 gallons or more, wear protective equipment including rubber boots, rubber gloves, rubber apron, and a self-contained breathing apparatus in the pressure demand mode or a supplied-air respirator. If the spill or leak is small, a full face piece air-purifying cartridge respirator equipped for organic vapors may be satisfactory. Always wear eye protection. For small spills or drips, mop or wipe up and dispose of in DOT-approved waste containers. For large spills, contain by diking with soil or other non-combustible absorbent materials, then pump into DOT-approved waste containers, or absorb with non-combustible sorbent materials. Place residue into DOT-approved waste containers. Keep out of storm drains, surface waters, and soil.

Comply with all applicable governmental regulations on spill reporting, handling and disposal of waste.

DISPOSAL METHODS: Dispose of contaminate product and materials used in cleaning up spills or leaks in a manner approved for this material. Consult appropriate Federal, State and Local regulatory agencies to ascertain proper disposal procedures.

NOTE: Empty containers can have residues, gases and mists and are subject to proper waste disposal.

SECTION VI SAFE HANDLING AND USE INFORMATION

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: None required under normal conditions of use. If risk of inhalation may occur, respiratory protective equipment must be selected and used in accordance with OSHA/NIOSH guidelines.

PRECAUTION TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING: Keep away from heat, sparks, and flames. Maintain good housekeeping. For maintenance of product quality, store in dry cool (under 110°F) warehouse conditions. STORE ABOVE 32°F.

EYE PROTECTION: For most conditions none required; however, if conditions of use are extreme and condition warrants wear goggles. It is generally recognized that contact lenses should not be worn when working with chemicals because contact lenses may contribute to the severity of an eye injury.

SKIN PROTECTION: None required in normal use conditions; however, if conditions of use warrant protection, wear long sleeved shirt, trousers, safety shoes and gloves.

HYGIENIC PRACTICES: Thoroughly Wash hands and other affected skin areas after handling. Avoid contact with food or food preparatory surfaces. If this occurs wash the area thoroughly with suitable detergent and water.
