![]() SOS COMES TO THE RESCUE!! An offshoot of the SSB (Super Soil Booster), soil enhancement product, our SOS (Super Organic Stimulator), we have found from various testing, can greatly enhance and speed the growth of plants grown within the Hydroponic system. This could definitely be the next big break-through for our bacteria/enzymes. SOS contains 17 specialized species of highly concentrated beneficial bacteria that address the challenges facing the hydroponics grower. One species is Bacillus Subtillus B. Subtillus promotes root growth by creating the enzyme, Auxin, a root stimulator. It is highly tolerant to acidic pH, heat and salt. SOS's other beneficial species of bacteria and enzymes speeds the assimilation of nutrients by the plants (nitrogen, phosphate, potassium and trace minerals), resulting in stronger and faster root, stalk, leaf and flower/fruit development. SOS reduces fertilizer usage significantly. SOS also breaks down toxins that may be present in the water and inhibit certain types of root fungus. Also, your hydroponic unit will no longer become salt encrusted. If your hydroponics unit is salt encrusted, when you begin using SOS, fertilization can be suspended while the salt build-up is being converted into bio-avaliable nutrients for your plants. When proteins that are present breakdown and form ammonia (NH4), SOS rapidily converts the ammonia into an easily assimilated form of nitrate (HNo3). Because SOS is highly concentrated, it will competitively inhibit harmful or pathogenic microbes. If nematodes are present, they will attack the roots of plants. SOS vitrually eliminates nematode problems while they are in the larvae stage. The Hydroponic market is building, we want to be a part of it. SOS - The natural organic solution to all your hydroponic problems. SOS is sold in 32 oz, gallon, 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums. Hydroponics is a method of growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions instead of soil. Terrestrial plants may be grown with their roots in the mineral nutrient solution only or in an inert medium, such as perlite, gravel or Rockwool. A variety of techniques exist. Plant physiology researchers discovered in the 1800s that plants absorb essential mineral nutrients as inorganic ions in water. In natural conditions, soil acts as a mineral nutrient reservoir but the soil itself is not essential to plant growth. When the mineral nutrients in the soil dissolve in water, plant roots are able to absorb them. When the required mineral nutrients are introduced into a plant's water supply artificially, soil is no longer required for the plant to thrive. Almost any terrestrial plant will grow with hydroponics, but some will do better than others. It is also very easy to do; the activity is often undertaken by very young children with such plants as watercress. Hydroponics is also a standard technique in biology research and teaching and a popular hobby. The MSDS sheet is the same as our SSB - Super Soil Booster! All of our products are non chemical and non hazardous. Application rates will be similar to the SSB. But, each setting will vary depending on the plant. |
